  1. Atomic Colon
  2. Bowel Training for Paraplegics
  3. Constipation
  4. Diarrhea
  5. Fecal Impaction
  6. Fever Therapy ( Hyper or Hypothermia)
  7. Flatulence and Bloating
  8. Hemorrhoids (mild)
  9. Intestinal Toxemia
  10. Nutrient Supplementation (enternal nutrition) prescribed by a medical doctor.
  11. Parasitic infections
  12. Fungal Yeast infections
  13. Preparations for Diagnostic Studies ( Barium enema, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, possibly surgery)

Contraindications
(when colon hydrotherapy should not be used)

  1. Abdominal Hernia
  2. Abdominal surgery – within 12 weeks
  3. Abnormal distension/masses
  4. Acute liver failure
  5. Anemia
  6. Aneurysms
  7. Carcinoma of the colon
  8. Cardiac Condition; cardiac surgery, uncontrolled hypertension or congestive heart failure
  9. Chrohn's Disease
  10. Colitis; ulcerative colitis
  11. Dialysis Patients; client restricted on fluid intake
  12. Diverticulitis
  13. Fissures/Fistulas
  14. Hemorrhaging
  15. Hemorrhoidectomy; withiin 12 weeks
  16. Intestinal Perforation
  17. Lupus
  18. Pregnancy; contraindicated during first and last trimester, except just prior to childbirth
  19. Rectal Surgery
  20. Renal insufficiencies
  21. Medication concerns; medications that may weaken intestinal walls.
